Website Workshops – try before you buy!
Thinking of getting a website?
Want to publicise your small business or share your hobby?
“Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”
There are many exciting possibilities on the internet – making your own website, publishing your own eBook, connecting with people on Social Media, making your own marketing items, creating digital art...
All of these involve some time learning the processes and terminology. Some techniques and processes take a while to get the hang of. Other places or processes can be quick and easy. It depends on your prior experiences, personal learning style, and who the process was created for.
The key is to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to learn, use the learning techniques that work for you, and begin sharing your project even if it's not completely finished to the level you would like - start small and build on what you can do.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
A short course, library book, or some internet research, will help you get started with your project. Then you can do what you can do first and get it online, published, or print it for yourself.
Keep developing your skills and knowledge by doing a little bit more each day or week. Adjust and build your project, gradually creating the finished product you originally envisaged. Soon you'll realise you know the processes and terminology, and you're now doing what you couldn't do before!
Now you're ready to start a new project! :-)
A helping hand with beginnings!
